Derivatives Trader

As a Trader, you will monitor financial markets, pricing trends, volatility, and news that may affect the market. You will design strategies such as spreads, straddles, hedges, or arbitrage to exploit pricing inefficiencies or trends. Your responsibilities will include buying and selling futures and options on exchanges promptly to reflect market view or hedge portfolio risk. Additionally, you will calculate portfolio risk using greeks and margin requirements, set stop-loss levels, and adjust positions to control risk. It will be important for you to maintain accurate trade records, positions, profits, and losses for internal and external reports. You will also be expected to analyze historical data and employ mathematical or statistical models for pricing and risk strategies. Collaboration with analysts, risk managers, and other traders to align strategies and manage portfolio risk will also be a key part of your role.
