Job Description

Deputy Project Manager Structures

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing structural components of the project.
Supervise the construction of bridges, ROBs, box culverts, minor/major structures, etc.
Coordinate with design consultants, structural engineers, and subcontractors.
Review structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and construction methodology.
Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
Resolve site-level technical issues and maintain accurate documentation.
Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols on structural works.
Support in preparing progress reports, quantity verifications, and billing for structural items.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Structural Engineering is preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in executing structural works in Large Scale highway/road projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction of bridges, flyovers, and other highway structures.
Familiar with IRC codes, MoRTH specifications, and relevant IS codes.
Strong command of structural design drawings, construction sequence, and QA/QC procedures.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
