1.Manage the inventory of tool, dies, fixtures and other equipment in the tool room
2.Ensure tools are properly maintained and calibrated to meet quality standards.
3.Monitor tool usage and identify areas for improvement or cost optimization.
4.Collaborate with the production incharge to ensure they have the right tools for their needs.
5.Taking necessary action to reduce rejection levels at early stage
6.To evaluate and adapt tool room practices to ensure best practices are implemented.(5s, Kaizens ,TPM, TQM)
7.Train and develop team members on new tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
1. In-depth knowledge of tooling and machining practices, including materials, processes and equipment.
2. Proven ability to manage tool inventory and tool usage
3. Strong understanding of tool wear, maintenance and repair procedure.
Should be from press tool
Should have sheet metal knowledge
Designation : Deputy Manager / Manager-Toolroom
Qualification : Diploma in Tool & Die or BE (Mech/Auto)
Years of Experience : 15 + years
CTC : Rs.10 to 12 L PA
