Deputy Manager Purchase

Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goalsHandle procurement of raw materials, consumables, capital goods, Civil works and other servicesProcurement of raw materials related to Optical Fiber Cable(OFC) and Optical Ground wire (OPGW) cablesIdentify, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize vendors and suppliersEnsure cost optimization through negotiation, rate contracts, and alternate sourcingPrepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requisitionsMonitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, and service parametersCoordinate with production, stores, quality, finance, and planning teamsEnsure timely material availability to avoid production disruptionsMaintain accurate procurement records, MIS reports, and documentationEnsure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory normsSupport vendor development and long-term supplier partnershipsHandle import procurement Resolve supplier issues related to shortages and qualityAssist in budgeting, forecasting and cost control initiatives.Guide and supervise junior procurement staff. Required Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills.Deep Knowledge on Inventory and supply chain management.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others.Understanding of business and management principles.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Willing to relocate to Sri City, Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh
