Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Deputy Manager Purchase, located in Mangaluru. The responsibilities include managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts with vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, monitoring supply chain efficiency, and maintaining procurement records. The Deputy Manager will collaborate with other departments to ensure all purchasing activities align with project requirements and organizational goals. Qualifications Experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation esp. in shipbuilding / ship repair industry Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics planning Analytical skills for budgeting, cost analysis, and cost optimization Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) and procurement software Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work independently Experience in the shipbuilding or manufacturing industry is a must. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
