Product Development

Drive end-to-end NPD projects: concept, prototyping, testing, and launch.
Collaborate with design teams to translate ideas into manufacturable furniture products.
Ensure compliance with ergonomics, safety, and sustainability standards.

Project Management

Plan and monitor NPD timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, production, procurement, quality).
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Market & Trend Analysis

Research global furniture trends, materials, and technologies.
Benchmark competitor products and recommend differentiation strategies.

Supplier & Material Development

Work with vendors to source innovative materials and hardware.
Evaluate supplier capabilities for prototyping and mass production.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure prototypes and final products meet durability, safety, and aesthetic standards.
Oversee testing protocols and certifications.

Team Leadership

Mentor junior engineers/designers in NPD processes.
Foster collaboration between design, production, and marketing teams.
