Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead, manage, and supervise daily production operations for wiring harness manufacturing.
Prepare and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, process parameters, and customer specifications.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues.
Monitor production KPIs (productivity, efficiency, downtime, scrap, OEE) and implement corrective actions.
Optimize manpower, material, and machine utilization to improve cost efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations in the production area.
Support new product development (NPD) and engineering change management in wiring harness production.
Prepare and present periodic production reports to management.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
10 - 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 45 years in wiring harness production management.
Experience in automotive/engineering industry preferred.
