Position: Assistant / Deputy Manager Mechanical

Maintenance

Experience 10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of the plants mechanical systems, including pumps,

compressors, HVAC systems, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment.

• Ensure that all mechanical systems are maintained and functioning efficiently with

minimal downtime to optimize plant operations.

• Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of mechanical upgrades, installations,

and modifications to enhance production efficiency.

• Provide input for continuous improvement initiatives, including cost-saving

opportunities related to mechanical operations, energy consumption, and system

upgrades.

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance activities on mechanical equipment to

minimize unplanned downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.

• Ensure all preventive maintenance is performed on time, and records are accurately

maintained.

• Lead and assist with root-cause analysis of recurring mechanical issues to identify

systemic problems.

• Implement corrective actions to resolve mechanical problems, ensuring long-term

reliability of equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of mechanical maintenance works, including maintenance

logs, repair histories, parts usage, and safety inspections.

• Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities are well-documented and easily

accessible for review and audit purposes.

• Work closely with other departments, including Production, Quality Control, and

Facilities, to ensure mechanical maintenance activities align with overall production

goals and schedules.

• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers on mechanical projects,

repairs, and equipment procurement.

• Help lead and foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence within the

maintenance department.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, conveyors,

HVAC systems, gears, and bearings.

• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues,

including root-cause analysis and resolution
