As a Deputy Manager Intellectual Property Management at Rising Pharmaceuticals, your role will involve overseeing intellectual property (IP) activities, drafting and filing patents, managing IP portfolios, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with research and development teams, conduct prior art searches, and provide IP-related guidance. It is crucial to maintain knowledge of patent laws and industry trends relevant to the pharmaceutical domain to excel in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee intellectual property activities - Draft and file patents - Manage IP portfolios - Ensure regulatory compliance - Collaborate with research and development teams - Conduct prior art searches - Provide IP-related guidance - Stay updated on patent laws and industry trends Qualifications: - Proficiency in Intellectual Property Management, including experience with drafting, filing patents, and managing IP portfolios - Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, patent laws, and experience with Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDA) processes - Strong research and analytical skills for conducting prior art searches and evaluating patent landscapes - Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Detail-oriented mindset with organizational skills for managing complex IP documentation and processes - Educational background in pharmacy, law, life sciences, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications in IP law are an added advantage - Prior experience in pharmaceutical product development or regulatory science is highly desirable.
