Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bookkeeping.
Process vendor invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare and perform
bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
.
Assist in
monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
of accounts.
Support
budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
activities.
Ensure compliance with
GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
.
Prepare
MIS reports
, financial statements, and cash flow summaries.
Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, and other stakeholders during
internal and statutory audits
.
Maintain and update accounting records in
Tally / SAP / ERP
systems.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and control.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of
accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
.
Hands-on experience in
Tally / SAP / ERP software
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel and financial data analysis
.
Knowledge of GST & TDS.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
