 Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Indirect 
 About The Role  
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Deputy Manager - Business Loans - Indirect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our business loan portfolio through indirect channels, including partnerships, intermediaries, and other third-party networks. The role demands a deep understanding of business lending products, channel management, and effective stakeholder engagement.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop, manage, and grow the business loans portfolio through indirect channels such as DSAs, brokers, and other third-party partners.
  • Identify, onboard, and nurture relationships with new and existing channel partners to maximize business opportunities.
  • Drive sales targets and ensure achievement of business objectives in assigned territory or segment.
  • Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams to ensure seamless loan processing and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor partner performance, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies during loan origination and disbursement.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, channel effectiveness, and market dynamics to senior management.
  • Deliver training and guidance to channel partners regarding product features, documentation, and processes.

  •  Qualifications and Skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in business loans, SME lending, or related financial products, with a focus on indirect channels.
  • Strong knowledge of business loan products, credit policies, and lending procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and prepare actionable insights.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing channel partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant CRM/loan management systems.
