 Deputy Area Manager - Debt Management Services - Rural 
 Job Purpose 
The Debt Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agencies.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and proper guidelines.
  • Review and track milestones.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.
  • Travel with Recovery Officers (ROs).
  • Timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficient in Excel for daily tracking of team members' performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and polish their skill sets.
  • Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.
  • Rectify problems encountered during the collection process.
  • Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve collection performance.
  • Legal recovery for Urban NPL Wheels (Vehicle Finance), repo, and legal management.
  • Litigation and case management.
  • Compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting and documentation.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Experience in achieving collection targets through customer/agency visits.
  • Ability to monitor and guide team performance with regular updates.
  • Familiarity with milestone reviewing and tracking.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance related to product repossession.
  • Willingness to travel with Recovery Officers.
  • Experience in timely allocation of cases to team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for daily performance tracking.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle escalations efficiently.
  • Experience with DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.
  • Skill in developing and implementing strategies for collection improvement.
  • Ability to counsel and train direct reportees.
  • Team management experience in a collections or recovery environment.
  • Problem-solving skills for issues encountered during collections.
  • Experience managing average collection reports for performance improvement.
  • Knowledge of legal recovery, repo, and litigation processes, especially in vehicle finance.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk mitigation practices.
