Department Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of stocks on the sales floors for customers, maintaining floor neatness, controlling inventory, handling manpower, managing the opening and closing of stores, monitoring and controlling stock levels to prevent shortages or excess, preventing pilferage, ensuring quick billing and smooth checkouts for customers, managing assets, implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) management for inventory, and prioritizing the safety of employees and customers. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure availability of stocks on sales floors - Maintain floor neatness - Control inventory effectively - Handle manpower efficiently - Manage the opening and closing of stores - Monitor and control stock levels to prevent shortages or excess - Prevent pilferage - Ensure quick billing and smooth checkouts for customers - Manage assets appropriately - Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) management for inventory - Prioritize the safety of employees and customers Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in inventory management and retail operations - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management - Prioritize safety and security measures Additional Company Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including a flexible schedule, health insurance, leave encashment, and provident fund.
