DEO (Data Entry Operator)

As a Data Entry Operator, your responsibilities will include: - Inserting customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within specified time limits - Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry - Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking output - Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents - Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations - Scanning documents and printing files when necessary - Keeping information confidential - Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files - Complying with data integrity and security policies Qualifications required for this role: - B.Sc in Chemistry/Diploma in Textile Technology/ Handloom Technology/ Textile Processing - Minimum 1 year of proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or relevant role - Experience with MS Office and data programs - Experience using office equipment like a fax machine and scanner - Typing speed and accuracy - Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation - Attention to detail and confidentiality - Organizational skills with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks Please note that this position is a third-party contractual role. Kindly confirm your comfort with this arrangement. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bangalore, Karnataka. Candidates should have the ability to commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
