Dental Technician

You will play a crucial role as a CAD CAM Dental Technician in our dental laboratory team. Your expertise in digital dentistry, specifically in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) technology, will be utilized to design and fabricate various dental restorations with precision and attention to detail. Your understanding of dental anatomy will be essential in producing high-quality restorations using advanced software and milling machines. Your responsibilities will include using CAD/CAM software such as Exocad and 3Shape to design a variety of dental restorations including crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays, onlays, and implants. You will be expected to perform intraoral and model scanning using 3D scanners to create accurate digital impressions. Operating CAM milling machines and 3D printers to manufacture dental restorations will be a key aspect of your role. Material management will be another critical responsibility where you will select appropriate materials like zirconia, ceramic, and PMMA for different restorations and prepare them for milling or printing. Maintaining strict quality control standards for aesthetics, fit, and functionality of all restorations will be paramount in your role. Collaboration with dentists, lab managers, and other technicians is essential to understand patient requirements and deliver personalized restorations effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for post-milling finishing processes such as staining, glazing, and polishing of restorations. Your role will also involve keeping CAD/CAM software and equipment updated, as well as ensuring regular maintenance of milling machines and other equipment. Maintaining accurate records of cases, designs, and material usage for each patient will be crucial for record-keeping purposes.,
