Delivery Driver

Job Summary

The Driver will be responsible for transporting dairy products safely and efficiently from the dairy plant to various distribution centers, retailers, and customers. The role includes maintaining vehicle hygiene, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to all safety and food handling standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles (e.g., refrigerated trucks or vans) to transport milk and dairy products.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations.
• Verify and load products according to delivery schedules and invoices.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the vehicle and cargo area as per food safety regulations.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle (oil, water, brakes, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues or delays immediately to the logistics supervisor.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel records, and trip sheets.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
• Assist in loading/unloading of dairy products when required.
• Ensure proper temperature control during transport of perishable goods.
• Follow proper documentation procedures (e.g., invoices, delivery notes, gate passes).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
