Delivery Director

As a Delivery Leader for the offshore development team at QualiZeal, you will have the opportunity to lead the development teams in building mission-critical systems for the airline industry. You will be involved in end-to-end offshore project delivery across full-stack technologies such as Java, Microservices, Kafka, Python, JavaScript, AWS Cloud, APIs, and Testing for a leading US-based airline. Your role will also include collaborating with onsite client teams to gather and translate requirements, plan project timelines, budgets, risks, and resource planning. You will work on real-time systems that ensure airline safety and maintain aircraft airworthiness, making a real-time impact. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and collaborate with top software development and quality engineering talent while driving continuous process improvement and promoting Agile best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end offshore project delivery across full-stack technologies. - Collaborate closely with onsite customer teams to gather and translate requirements. - Oversee project timelines, risks, budgets, and resource planning. - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Full Stack Developers. - Proactively manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Track the work progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. - Continuously drive process improvement and promote agile best practices. Qualifications Required: - 20 years in software development and delivery/project management. - Strong experience in project management (Agile, Scrum). - Strong understanding of Full Stack technologies (Java, Microservices, Kafka, Python, JavaScript, AWS Cloud, APIs, Testing). - Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills. - Experience with Agile methodologies and project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Strong risk management and team management capabilities.,
