Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Boy and Pickup & Order Booker to join our team at Sree Guruvayoor Tiffin, a well-known restaurant in Thrissur. The ideal candidate will have experience in food delivery and customer service, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Delivery:

Deliver food orders to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Ensure that all deliveries are accurate and meet the restaurant’s quality standards.

Follow designated delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.

Maintain proper hygiene and ensure that food is delivered in good condition.

Pickup & Order Booking:

Handle phone calls and online orders from customers.

Ensure all orders are accurately recorded and confirmed in the system.

Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.

Assist customers with order-related queries and ensure a smooth ordering process.

Book pick-up orders and manage order tracking.

Customer Interaction:

Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs and concerns.

Be polite and professional while interacting with customers both on the phone and during deliveries.

Inventory Management:

Assist in managing and checking inventory of delivery-related items (packaging, cutlery, etc.).

Ensure delivery vehicles are clean and well-maintained.

Record Keeping:

Maintain records of deliveries, pickups, and payments.

Ensure that all order details are accurately logged.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (delivery, order booking, customer service).

Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills in Malayalam and/or English.

Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and order handling.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry food delivery items and maintain focus during busy hours.

Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with basic software for order booking and tracking.

Knowledge of the Local Area: Familiarity with the roads and landmarks in Thrissur is preferred.
