Delivery Assistant

As a Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery operations of the company. Your role will involve assisting in loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering goods to customers safely and on time. It is essential to have punctuality, physical fitness, and good customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in loading and unloading products from the vehicle. - Accompany the delivery driver on assigned routes and support in navigation if required. - Ensure products are handled safely to avoid damage during transit. - Deliver items to customers" locations and obtain signatures/acknowledgements. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles. - Help verify and cross-check delivery items as per invoice or delivery sheet. - Ensure timely delivery of goods as per company schedule. - Assist in basic documentation related to deliveries. - Report any delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies to the supervisor. - Follow all safety rules, traffic guidelines, and company protocols. Requirements: - Minimum SSLC / Higher Secondary preferred. - Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse field is an advantage. - Basic understanding of routes and locations (local area knowledge preferred). - Physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy items. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. - Ability to work flexible hours when required.
