Recognition for professional work must be endorsed by the university's vice-chancellor to be considered valid. Desirable qualifications for applicants include a background in teaching, research, industrial, and/or professional roles in reputable organizations. Additionally, a track record of published work such as research papers, filed/obtained patents, books, and technical reports is beneficial. Experience in supervising project work/dissertations of PG/research students and overseeing R&D projects in the industry is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills in organizing academic, research, industrial, and/or professional activities will be advantageous for the role.
