Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Dealer Network Expansion

  • Identify potential dealers and distributors in assigned territories.
  • Appoint new dealers in line with company strategy and growth plans.
  • Conduct market surveys to assess dealership feasibility and potential.

Dealer Onboarding & Enablement

  • Manage end-to-end dealer onboarding including documentation, agreements, and training.
  • Ensure dealers are fully equipped with product knowledge, pricing, schemes, and policies.
  • Coordinate showroom setup, branding, and infrastructure guidelines.

Sales & Performance Management

  • Drive retail and wholesale targets through the dealer network.
  • Monitor dealer performance, stock levels, and order planning.
  • Support dealers in achieving monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

Channel Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers.
  • Address dealer concerns and resolve operational or commercial issues.
  • Conduct regular dealer meetings, reviews, and field visits.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track competitor activity, pricing, and dealer strategies in the EV 3-wheeler segment.
  • Provide market feedback to management for product and policy improvements.
  • Support promotional activities, launches, and local marketing initiatives.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, service, finance, and logistics.
  • Ensure smooth delivery, billing, and after-sales support for dealers.
  • Prepare and submit regular MIS reports on dealer development and sales performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in dealer network development or channel sales.
  • Mandatory experience in Electric Vehicles / Automotive / 3-Wheeler segment.
  • Experience in passenger and cargo vehicle networks will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of dealer management and channel development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Result-oriented with strong market execution capability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
