DCO Professional Support MEP

Role Overview: As a DCO Professional Support MEP, your role involves assisting in the preparation of budgets and budget estimations for MEP packages, evaluating tenders received from design, preparing the rate master, and updating rates based on market conditions. Additionally, you will conduct periodical techno-commercial audits for defined projects, value engineering, prepare DD level budgets, and subsequent CTC. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with various design cells to understand the design intent on specific projects. - Estimate various MEP packages and price them accordingly. Prepare comparatives for estimated costs as per policies and recently completed/awarded packages. - Review design development packages and explore further needs for cost optimization across various MEP packages and value engineering options feasible. - Ensure adherence to various policies and norms while reviewing tenders. - Timely and accurate review of tenders and release them to procurement for further processing. - Assist in the preparation of DD budgets and provide inputs on variation in concept design vs. DD design and cost implications. - Maintain active communication with departments like design, procurement, and construction management. - Obtain market rates, prepare rate analyses for all items, and update the rate master periodically. - Create a database of market rates, monitor trends, and update them regularly. - Conduct techno-commercial audits for post-contract works and suggest process improvements to avoid irregularities/mistakes. Qualifications: - B.E. (Mechanical) or Diploma (Mechanical). Please ensure you have 5-8 years of experience for graduates and 8-10 years of experience for diploma holders.,
