Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and securing the best terms and conditions. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, reducing excess inventory and minimizing stockouts. Cost Management: Analyze and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining quality standards. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for purchased materials, conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate product availability, and compare prices and quality. Material Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of various materials used in interior design and construction, including their properties, applications, and sourcing. Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring all legal and company requirements are met. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks by developing contingency plans and ensuring supplier reliability. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role, preferably in the interior design or construction industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement tools which are Basic Tally, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate suppliers, manage budgets, and improve procurement processes. Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Team Management and Leadership:- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. - Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and training to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge to perform effectively. - Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss strategies, and share best practices. Sales Strategy Development and Execution:- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet business goals and expand market share. - Identify target markets, key client segments, and set measurable goals for the team. Client Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive long-term business. - Oversee complex client negotiations and ensure smooth deal closures by the sales team. - Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction, handling escalated client issues and offering solutions. Performance Monitoring and Reporting :- Track and analyze sales team performance, providing regular reports to senior management. - Utilize sales data to assess individual performance and recommend improvements where necessary. - Set and monitor KPIs for sales executives, providing constructive feedback and performance reviews. Business Development: - Identify and explore new business opportunities in the market, including strategic partnerships, cross-selling, and upselling. - Work with the marketing team to drive lead generation campaigns and assess their effectiveness. Collaboration Across Departments :- Coordinate with the design, project management, and accounts team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. - Collaborate with the marketing department on promotional activities, branding, and events to support sales efforts. Process Improvement and Innovation :- Review and refine the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Introduce tools, CRM systems, and technologies to improve lead tracking, conversion rates, and customer engagement. Recruitment and Talent Development: - Recruitment and selection of sales staff as needed. - Encourage a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and high performance within the team. Networking and Building Partnerships: - Attend trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions to make connect and tie up opportunity, build a network of industry contacts, and identify potential opportunities. Sales Forecasting and Budget Management: - Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage budgets to optimize profitability. - Allocate resources effectively to ensure maximum productivity and achievement of targets.
