DC Lead

As a Data Center Systems Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and performance of data center systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring data center systems such as servers, storage devices, and network equipment using monitoring tools. - Responding to alerts promptly and taking appropriate action to resolve issues or escalating them to higher-level support when necessary. - Performing regular health checks on data center equipment to maintain optimal performance. - Providing L1/L2 support for hardware and software issues, including server reboots, network connectivity problems, and hardware failures. - Coordinating with L2/L3/L4 engineers and vendors for more complex issues and repairs. - Performing routine maintenance tasks like server rack installations, hardware upgrades, and cabling. - Managing and documenting data center assets, including hardware inventory and configuration details. - Conducting regular backups and data recovery tests following established procedures. - Responding swiftly to data center incidents, including power outages, hardware failures, and security breaches. - Enforcing data center security policies and procedures to safeguard operations. - Maintaining accurate records of data center operations, including maintenance logs, incident reports, and change management documentation. - Participating in regular reporting activities on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities for management review. - Collaborating with other IT teams, such as network, systems, and storage engineers, to address issues and enhance operations. - Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless data center operations. - Being part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support as required. You should have knowledge of data center-related parameters like cooling and power, along with familiarity with ISO standards to excel in this role.,
