At least 12 years Plus experience as DBA.

Able to interpret customer needs and translate into understandable written requirements

Able to assemble, analyze and evaluate data to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business and project teams

Able to engage with application development and support teams.

Able to mentor and train less experienced peers

Able to make proactive recommendations

Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and often changing environment

Ensure quality deliverables.

Communicates well to a wide range of audiences with ease and comfort

11+ years of hands on and proven experience in Mainframe Technologies - DB2, COBOL, and JCL

Expertise on administration of one or more relational databases - DB2, MS SQL, ORACLE etc

Proven knowledge on performance tuning and ensuring high availability of infrastructure

Hands on experience in database migration between different flavors of databases and across different platforms

Proficient in all version upgrades

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent
