Job Description

8+ years on DB2 Administration 24 X 7 production support experience. Ensuring database integrity and availability and monitoring the necessary activities. Provide expertise related to DB performance, scalability and HADR environments (Log Shipping, Replication\CDC, Mirroring and AOAG). Patching, Upgrade, Migration, and maintenance of DB2 databases across various versions. Fix vulnerabilities and strong troubleshooting skills on resolving patching issues. Well versed in database performance tuning, especially SQL tuning. Roles and Responsibilities Supported DB2 on Linux\Windows both migrations and on-going support. Excellent troubleshooting skills, Skilled in Backups & Disaster Recovery. Extensive experience with Monitoring tools (Eg: SolarWinds) Have Automated DB tasks, Health checks, blocking, disk space, Maintenance tasks etc. Familiar with storage area networks (SAN) and designing configuration of production class database servers and database disk requirements. Technical Certifications are Plus
