Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 7 to 10 years of experience in Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during the day shift. Proficiency in English is required. Experience in Automated Teller Machines domain is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere Datastage to ensure data integration and transformation.
- Oversee the implementation of data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Provide expertise in PL/SQL to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data integration projects.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across various data sources and systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement scheduling basics to automate data workflows and ensure timely data availability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and database queries.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes data flows and system configurations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles.
- Demonstrate expertise in ETL processes and tools specifically IBM Infosphere Datastage.
- Exhibit proficiency in PL/SQL for writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Have experience with scheduling basics to automate data workflows.
- Show capability in data integration techniques and best practices.
- Nice to have experience in the Automated Teller Machines domain.
- Display excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
- Have a minimum of 7 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Work effectively in a hybrid model with a primary day shift.
- Show ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data warehousing and ETL technologies.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
