Database Team Lead

Role Overview: As a Database Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 10+ resources to deliver high-quality outcomes. Your expertise in SQL and database management will be crucial in working with large datasets, writing efficient SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting. You will also play a key role in query optimization and performance tuning using tools such as Explain Plan, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and AWR reports. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of 10+ resources to deliver high-quality outcomes. - Work with large datasets, writing efficient SQL queries for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting. - Perform query optimization and performance tuning using Explain Plan, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and AWR reports. - Participate in requirement gathering, impact analysis, and technical design discussions with stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to RDBMS concepts, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling best practices. - Collaborate closely with business users, DBAs, developers, and testers to build scalable database solutions. - Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and strong technical documentation skills. - Familiarity with MIS reporting requirements and life insurance life cycle is essential. - Document technical designs, data flows, and process logic for long-term support and maintenance.
