Database Systems Development - Principal Member Technical Staff

As a Core Database Internal Engineer at Salesforce, you will be part of the Database engineering team in India. Your role will involve architecting, developing, and testing the next generation of cloud-native databases. Qualifications required for this role are: - 13+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 4 years specifically in database kernel development. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. - Proficiency in C or C++ server development; Java experience is a plus. - Prior experience working on relational database kernel development. - Proven track record of delivering innovative features for large-scale systems. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with highly-scalable and highly-available distributed systems.
