Job Description

Database Reliability Engineer NoSQL & Cloud Data Platforms

Desired Experience Range:

Location of Requirement:

Must Have

5+ years of experience managing Snowflake and MongoDB databases.
Strong experience designing and implementing scalable data models for business and analytical use cases.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
.
Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write, tune,and maintain queries for large-scale datasets.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code/configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
Demonstrated ability to implement automated scaling and performance optimisation for Snowflake and MongoDB.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills specific to NoSQL and cloud data workloads.
Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring cloud and NoSQL platforms.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Streamlit for building interactive data applications and dashboards.
Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks.
Advanced documentation and diagramming skills for database architecture.
Knowledge of additional NoSQL platforms (e.g., Cassandra, NeptuneDB, DynamoDB, Couchbase).
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to align technical solutions to business needs.
