Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes.
Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply patches.
Ensure high availability, data security, and disaster recovery solutions.
Write scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks.
Support development teams with query optimization and data management.
Manage database backup, recovery, and migration processes.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong command over
SQL
(querying, updating, managing databases)
Expertise in
DBMS platforms
: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle
Experience in
Cloud Services
: Microsoft Azure / AWS
Familiarity with
Operating Systems
: Linux & Windows Server
Knowledge of
Scripting & Automation
: Python, PowerShell

Certifications (Preferred):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
IBM DB2 Certification

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience in
database administration & support
