Database Administrator

The primary responsibility of an Infoscion is to interface with clients for quality assurance issue resolution and ensure high customer satisfaction. You will be involved in understanding requirements, creating and reviewing designs, validating architecture, and delivering high levels of service offerings in the technology domain. Additionally, you will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews, and lead your teams in developing optimized high-quality code deliverables. Continual knowledge management and adherence to organizational guidelines and processes are essential. As an Infoscion, you are expected to contribute significantly to building efficient programs and systems. A good understanding of SQL Database Administration and Oracle Database Administration is required, with experience in both being an added advantage. SQL DBA applicants should have experience in Mirroring, Clustering, Log shipping, HADR activities, and Always ON, while Oracle DBA applicants should be familiar with RAC, RMAN, Dataguard, Exadata, and Golden gate. In addition to technical requirements, Infoscion should possess analytical abilities, strong technical skills, good communication skills, and a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles, and modelling methods. Awareness of the latest technologies and trends is crucial, along with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Further responsibilities include knowledge of design principles, fundamentals of architecture, performance engineering, quality processes, and estimation techniques. Infoscion should have a basic understanding of the project domain, the ability to translate requirements into systems requirements, design and code complex programs, write test cases based on specifications, and understand SDLC and agile methodologies. Logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities are essential for this role. Preferred skills include expertise in Database Administration, specifically SQL DBA and Oracle DBA, as well as knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL Server, and SQL administration in the technology domain.,
