Job Description

Knowledge in MS SQL 2008/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019 Administration.
Should have worked in a production support environment.
Knowledge on Installations and Migrations.
Experience in installing Service Packs and Security Patches for all MS Supported SQL Server Version 16 or 19.
Experience in troubleshooting and performance issues
Experience in using DMV / DMF, SQL Profiler, Perfmon, Extended Events, third party tools to troubleshoot performance issues
Knowledge in recovery models
Handling user permissions and privileges
Hands on experience on Clustering, Log Shipping, Database Mirroring, Replication and Always on High Availability
Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
Creating maintenance jobs and monitoring logs.
Familiar with ITIL framework.
Knowledge in Capacity Management Planning
Experience in backups, restores and recovery models
Experience in Handling client independently
Experience in working with Databases on the Cloud (AWS/Azure/ GCP)
Able to work with minimum supervision as well as perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Should be able to interact / manage customer independently
