Data Warehouse Analyst - US Healthcare

As a Senior EDW Analyst / Consultant specializing in US Healthcare, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions customized for healthcare datasets including claims, eligibility, enrollment, EHR/EMR, provider, and pharmacy. You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for the ingestion, transformation, and integration of healthcare data. Ensuring compliance with US healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, CMS mandates, NCQA quality reporting, and HEDIS will be crucial. Additionally, you will play a key role in enabling analytics and reporting to support various decision-making processes across actuarial, clinical, quality, and operational domains. Partnering with data governance teams to uphold data quality, integrity, and security will also be part of your responsibilities. Your support will extend to initiatives related to population health, risk adjustment, care management, and value-based care programs. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have at least 5 years of experience in EDW development and support within the US healthcare industry. Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling (star/snowflake schema), and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc., is essential. Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, and BigQuery is preferred. Experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, DRG, and HCC will be beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work cross-functionally, are important attributes for this role. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
