Data Visualization Analyst

This role is for one of our clients in the Technology, Information, and Media industry based in Mumbai. As a Senior Data Visualization Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into clear and actionable narratives. Your role will involve creating impactful dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker and collaborating with various teams to design intuitive and scalable visualizations. You will work on Visualization Design & Development, where you will create interactive dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs and develop custom visuals and reports. In Cloud-Based Data Access & Transformation, you will extract and model data from Azure Data Lake and Databricks, ensuring accuracy and performance. Collaborating with data engineers, you will prepare and transform datasets for reporting and visualization. Your responsibilities will also include Stakeholder Collaboration, where you will translate business questions into analytical visual narratives and act as a visualization consultant to different teams. Data Quality & Governance will be crucial, involving data profiling, validation, and ensuring data integrity across reports. Continuous Improvement & Innovation will be a key aspect of your role, where you will stay updated on dashboarding trends and optimize existing dashboards for enhanced performance and storytelling quality. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics. Proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is essential. Strong SQL skills, understanding of data modeling concepts, and experience with cloud-native data platforms are required. Familiarity with tools like Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Python, or PySpark would be advantageous. Apart from technical skills, soft skills such as a strong visual design sense, attention to detail, ability to explain technical topics in simple language, and a proactive mindset are desired. You should be comfortable working in agile teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and taking ownership of dashboards from concept to delivery. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field along with certifications in Azure, Databricks, Power BI, or Tableau would be a plus.,
