Key Skills

? 46 years of hands-on experience in applied ML, time series, or forecasting.? Strong coding expertise in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processingand model development.? Proven experience working on Databricks and AWS for scalable analytics anddeployment.? Strong understanding of price optimization, cannibalization modeling, anddemand modeling in FMCG/Retail contexts.

Key Responsibilities

Model Development:? Build and scale machine learning models for price elasticity, price and promotionoptimization, cannibalization analysis, and demand forecasting tailored to FMCGand Retail dynamics.? Quantify cross-product interactions, substitution effects, and promotional impactsto optimize category-level pricing and demand outcomes.Hands-On Analytics:? Work extensively with PySpark and Databricks to process large-scale structuredand unstructured datasets.? Develop and deploy production-ready solutions on AWS using best practices indata engineering and model lifecycle management.Demand & Cannibalization Modeling:? Design robust models to forecast baseline demand, incremental lift, and cross-product cannibalization under various pricing and promotional scenarios.? Apply causal inference and advanced statistical modeling techniques to interpretconsumer behavior and portfolio performance.Business Collaboration:? Partner with category, revenue management, and supply chain teams tointegrate data-driven insights into pricing and assortment strategies.? Translate complex analytical results into clear business recommendations thatdrive measurable commercial outcomes.Client/Stakeholder Engagement:? Present actionable insights and model outputs to business leaders in clear,business-relevant language.? Support stakeholders in understanding model implications and adoptinganalytical solutions across business functions.Innovation:? Explore emerging AI/ML techniques, automation opportunities, and real-time dataintegration to enhance accuracy and scalability of pricing and demand models.

Skills & Experience

Essential:? Master's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science,Operations Research, or related field.? 46 years of relevant experience in data science, predictive modeling, or demandforecasting, preferably within FMCG or Retail.? Proven expertise in Python, PySpark, AWS, and Databricks.? Strong working knowledge of machine learning, optimization, time seriesforecasting, and demand/cannibalization modeling.? Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts tonon-technical stakeholders.? Experience with price optimization and revenue growth management projects inFMCG/Retail.? Familiarity with MLOps practices for scalable deployment and monitoring.
