Job Description

As a data scientist, you will collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data collation and cleaning processes. You will work closely with the data engineers to validate data sufficiency and quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting exploratory modeling to evaluate the potential for data modeling based on the available datasets. You will utilize both publicly accessible data platforms and develop new models for building, testing, and deploying. The ideal candidate for this role will possess hands-on experience in constructing data models specifically tailored for the agriculture and related sectors. Furthermore, candidates with technical knowledge of the agriculture sector, including but not limited to farm production, commodity trade, and climate dynamics, will be preferred. Prior experience in risk modeling or risk assessment will be an added advantage.,
