Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large and diverse datasets.
• Build, validate, and deploy predictive and statistical models.
• Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Conduct A/B tests, design experiments, and evaluate model performance.
• Automate data workflows and contribute to data pipeline improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging tools, algorithms, and best practices in Data Science.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Python/R and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ML techniques (classification, regression, clustering, NLP, time-series, etc.).
• Familiarity with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate insights clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale data (Big Data tools like Spark/Hadoop).
• Exposure to MLOps tools and model deployment practices.
• Knowledge of statistics, probability, and experimental design.
• Experience working in product-based or fast-paced startup environments.
