Data Scientist

About the Role: We're seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Data Science Innovation team in Research, combining expertise in data science with strong data management capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess profound knowledge in data science, data cleaning and wrangling, and a passion for continuous growth. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with brokers and business stakeholders, translating data insights into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and improve machine learning models using advanced data science approaches.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, including visualization and statistical techniques.
• Design and implement data cleaning processes and maintain data pipelines.
• Create and manage databases, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
• Interact with cross-functional teams, including brokers, account teams, Researchers, and stakeholders, to fill gaps in data and understand data context.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in data science and real estate.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field

• 3+ years of industry experience in machine learning and data science

• Strong programming skills with statistical languages, including Python, R and SQL

• Strong data management and cleansing skills, and extensive experience with products like Databricks

• Knowledge of GenAI applications in Data Science (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG techniques)

• Expertise in various data science aspects: classification, regression, NLP, time-series analysis, etc.

• Experience with data cleaning techniques and database management systems

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with brokers and members of the business

• Compatible with Europe time zone and working hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the commercial real estate sector

• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies

• Experience serving machine learning models as API services

• Strategic, outside-of-the-box thinker
