Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our growing analytics and AI team. The ideal candidate will have 5 8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics, with strong problem-solving, programming, and stakeholder management skills. This role involves developing scalable analytical solutions, ensuring ethical AI practices, and translating complex business requirements into actionable insights and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Problem Solving

Define complex business problems, generate hypotheses, and evaluate alternative solutions.
Identify optimal analytical and statistical approaches to drive decision-making.

2. Data Analysis & Wrangling

Collect, clean, manipulate, and transform large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
Use analytical methods to extract insights and support business decisions.

3. Statistics & Algorithms

Apply appropriate statistical models, tests, and algorithms to address analytical challenges.
Design and implement machine learning models to uncover trends and patterns in data.

4. Programming

Develop and maintain high-quality code using languages such as Python, R, SQL, or Scala.
Build and automate analytical workflows, ensuring performance and scalability.

5. Artificial Intelligence Ethics

Ensure ethical use of AI technologies by adhering to data privacy, fairness, and transparency principles.
Promote responsible AI design, development, and deployment practices.

6. Translating Business Requirements

Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions.
Define technical specifications and deliver insights that directly impact business outcomes.

7. Metrics Creation

Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
Create data dashboards and visualizations to track performance trends.

8. Research & Interpretation

Conduct systematic research and stay current with emerging data science and AI methodologies.
Critically evaluate and interpret external studies, results, and publications to inform best practices.

9. Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate analytical results and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

10. Communication, Negotiation & Influence

Present complex findings in a clear, concise, and audience-appropriate manner.
Influence stakeholders through data-driven insights, fostering collaboration and consensus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
5-8 years of proven experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.
Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
Expertise in data wrangling, statistical modeling, and algorithm design.
Solid understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data-driven strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with MLOps and data pipeline orchestration (Airflow, MLflow, etc.).
Publications or conference participation in data science or AI ethics.
