Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist at Cisco, you will play a vital role in leveraging data to provide actionable insights for executives to make informed decisions. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team based in Bangalore, India, dedicated to analyzing complex datasets and identifying growth opportunities for the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models to address complex business challenges. - Apply AI techniques and generative AI models to enhance data analysis and predictive capabilities. - Utilize Tableau and other visualization tools to create insightful dashboards for stakeholders. - Manage and optimize large datasets using Snowflake and Teradata databases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical solutions. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies. - Mentor and guide junior data scientists to foster a culture of continuous learning. - Communicate complex analytical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. - At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role. - Proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions. - Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, data visualization tools like Tableau, Snowflake, Teradata, and various databases. - Experience in ETL processes, data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Experience in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and business domains. - Understanding of sales, financials, marketing, and telemetry domains.
