Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at our company, you will play a crucial role in transforming operations with actionable insights and advanced data analytics techniques in the transportation and logistics and fleet management domain. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with the business team to understand data sources and perform detailed Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to assess data quality and completeness. - Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data preparation pipelines for Machine Learning (ML) models based on manufacturing datasets. - Analyzing structured and semi-structured datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities. - Conducting ad-hoc analysis using statistical and machine learning algorithms to meet business requirements. - Collaborating effectively in a global, cross-functional team following agile methodologies. Qualifications required for this role are as follows: - B.E / B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Immediate Joiner Preferred. - At least 3 years of experience in Data Science with a strong expertise in Machine Learning. - Hands-on experience in building scalable and deploying ML solutions. - Proven expertise in working with datasets in transportation, logistics, or fleet management domains. - Experience in projects involving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as route efficiency, fuel usage, delivery time, fleet utilization, etc. - Knowledge of building recommendation systems and personalization algorithms using traditional ML models. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, etc., along with Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. - Experience with cloud platforms, with preference for Azure.
