Data Scientist

As a Lead Data Scientist at Avivo, a cutting-edge technology startup in Chennai, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing data science and machine learning solutions to tackle complex business challenges. You will leverage deep learning and NLP techniques to extract insights from large datasets, oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, AI, and generative AI technologies to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of machine learning models and systems. Qualifications Required: - Masters or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on deep learning and NLP. - Experience in leading and managing data science teams. - Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch. - Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and knowledge of Flask. - Understanding of statistical methods and mathematical concepts. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark. - Knowledge of software development practices, version control, and agile methodologies. - Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
