Data Enrichment

Your focus:

Your role will vary day to day, but here is a bit of what you can expect:

• Support the Data Enrichment manager on delivery of the Data Hunting Strategy.
• Work with different teams and stakeholders to achieve an understanding of their needs, data requirements and expected modelling outcomes
• Demonstrate analytical expertise to identify opportunities within new Enrichment data sources & promote the use of external Data throughout Allianz
• Measure and track impact of the products developed through business KPIs. Present result of analyses to business owners and share knowledge with team members.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to integrate enrichment data into our data pipelines and systems.
• Monitor and maintain existing external data used
• Ensure external Data services are managed in line with Data regulation.
• Support the performance & problem resolution for Data Enrichment Services & associated data submissions.
• Support delivery of projects involving Data Enrichment capability.
• Promote the Data enrichment strategy in project delivery.
• Investigate new data and analytics technologies and contribute to the continual development and evolution of our data architecture

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in a research / analytical role with the ability to handle with large and/or complex data sets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead others and champion best practices.
• Good command of Python, SQL, SAS or similar coding languages
• Good stakeholder management skills, including communication, expectation management and the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Ability to build and maintain relationships throughout both the Data and Analytics Department and the wider business

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of working in an insurance or financial services-based organisation.
• Understanding Change Practices such as Agile or Kanban.
• Collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence, Github
• Understanding how Enrichment work contributes to business performance
