Data Quality Specialist

As a Data Quality Specialist in Melbourne, your primary role will involve ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data within the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining high data quality standards to support business processes and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Possess a tertiary qualification in I.T. or a related discipline. - Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar data quality management role. - Exhibit working knowledge and practical experience in SQL and associated tools. - Utilize experience with relational databases and big data technologies (preferred). - Apply working knowledge of methods and tools used for data profiling and data analysis. - Interpret business processes and establish connections to application workflow and data structures. - Understand business rules and enforce them to ensure data quality outcomes. - Implement industry standard data governance and data management guidelines and practices. - Utilize data visualization tools to create dashboards and scorecards. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
