We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: Contribute to sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests Design, develop, test and support automation for the data protection services (NetBackup and CommVault) within the bank. Design, develop, test and support reporting and monitoring capabilities for the automation. Provide engineering support on the bank s data protection products and their standard usage. Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions. Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for all automation produced. Mentor less experienced members of staff Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) Extensive knowledge of software development languages, including Python, Bash Comprehensive experience in configuration management and orchestration using Redhat Ansible Proficient in designing, developing, and testing Rest API services. Hands on experience in Devops SCM tooling, GitHub Competent in Devops CI/CD tooling, Jenkins, CloudBees Skilled in using Devops collaboration tools, Jira, Confluence Knowledgeable in Veritas NetBackup and related infrastructure Knowledgeable in Commvault and related infrastructure Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which is available on our website.
