The Role

We’re hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Data Processing (SPSS) to own the end-to-end data processing lifecycle for research projects.

As the SME, you’ll manage data cleaning, coding, weighting, and tabulations in SPSS while working with engineering to translate these workflows into automated solutions..

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full DP lifecycle in SPSS — cleaning, validation, tabulation, transformations

• Build and maintain SPSS syntax libraries for automation and reusability

• Act as the SME for data processing workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency

• Partner with AI engineers to train and validate DP automation

• Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure clean datasets and insights

• Collaborate with survey programming and research teams to deliver outputs

• Provide training and structured feedback on automated DP workflows

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills

• 5+ years of Data Processing experience with SPSS

• Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformations, and tabulations

• Proficiency in SPSS syntax and macros

• Excellent problem-solving and quality control mindset

Bonus Points

• Experience integrating SPSS with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, DisplayR, Crunch.io)

• Familiarity with automation or AI in data processing workflows
