Data Platform Support Specialist

You will be the dedicated Data Platform Support Specialist responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our data platforms, with expertise in Qlik Replicate, Power BI, Tableau, DBT, Snowflake, and AWS admin. Your role will involve overseeing platform maintenance and monitoring to ensure availability, performance, and security. Additionally, you will provide technical support for data platform-related issues, assist users with queries, and collaborate with data engineers, architects, and IT teams for seamless integration and operation of data systems. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring data quality and integrity across all platforms, developing and supporting interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau, troubleshooting AWS S3/SFTP issues, and implementing best practices for cloud security and cost management. You will need to identify opportunities for optimizing data platform performance, stay updated with the latest trends in data platform management, and participate in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies and tools. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, along with proven experience in data platform support or a similar role. Proficiency in Qlik or any other ETL/ELT tool, Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, AWS Lambda, Glue, SQL, and Python is required. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Preferred qualifications include experience with other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and familiarity with data governance and security principles.,
