Data Ops Control Manager

You will be part of the Finance team in a global energy business, contributing towards delivering light, heat, and mobility to millions of people every day. Your role will focus on administering controls and associated risks for FBT Data operations function, ensuring that required programs are in place and effective. You will play a crucial part in developing and improving controls & risk mitigation management programs in response to the multifaceted environment that FBT Data operations operates in. - Drive bps Ethics & Compliance - Document and record the controls - Facilitate smooth internal & external audits - Develop practices and maintain documentation - Develop standard and coordinated controls processes, procedures, and reporting systems - Manage risk for FBT Data operations aligned with bp values, beliefs & behaviors and bp Code of Conduct - Develop and implement Risk and Compliance (R&C) activities for key risk areas - Monitor known and emerging risks, measure internal control efficiency, and develop action items to mitigate risks - Provide overview and assurance that adequate controls are effective and operational - Act as Ethics and Compliance Liaison (ECL) planning and implementing an effective Ethics and Compliance program - Continuously evaluate and improve the functional risk management program - Engage with external risk management organizations to identify opportunities for program improvement - Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a related area - 12+ years of experience in risk mitigation principles and techniques - Experience in Master Data, Data Governance in Finance/Customer or Procurement - Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - Excellent analytical, strategy development, and execution skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Experience in SAP ERP and advanced skills in Power BI, Excel will be an advantage You will have the opportunity to be part of a global energy business that is committed to becoming a net zero company by 2050 or sooner.
