Data Operations Specialist

The Data Operations Specialist is a crucial role within Our Partner International Funds Limited (MIFL) in Bangalore. You will play a significant part in ensuring the quality, integrity, and effectiveness of asset data throughout our information environment. Your responsibilities will include executing data quality routines, monitoring data pipelines and processes, and collaborating with the Senior Data Quality Engineer to address any identified issues promptly. Your role will involve working closely with the Senior Data Quality Engineer to oversee data processes such as ingestion, integration, and quality processes. You will be expected to identify, assess, and communicate potential data quality issues, as well as investigate the root causes of errors and suggest long-term solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting data operations and monitoring solutions in clear guides, executing data quality runbooks, creating data quality rules, and maintaining data catalogues and business glossaries in Informatica. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a data quality, systems analyst, or data-focused role. Proficiency in programming languages like SQL and Python, as well as experience in data analytics, are essential. Familiarity with Informatica products and concepts like Data Governance, Data Quality, or Master Data Management will be advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a relevant field.
